Refund Policy

Returns and Exchanges

Merry Bright gladly accepts returns or exchanges on eligible items (with some exclusions) within 30 days of delivery, as long as the return/exchange is initiated before December 20th.

No returns or exchanges can be processed after December 20th of the same year, even if the delivery occurred within the last 30 days. All returned items must be in transit to our facilities by December 20th to be eligible.

While Merry Bright provides free outbound shipping on most products (with certain exceptions), a shipping and handling fee applies to returns. Please note that larger trees or multi-box items may incur higher fees.

Refund Policy

Merry Bright reserves the right to reject or apply additional fees for any non-approved or non-eligible returns or exchanges. Unauthorized returns—such as those sent outside the approved time frame, items that are used, damaged, or contain unrecognizable materials—may result in a partial refund or no refund at all.

Shipping and handling fees will be deducted from the customer’s refund. All refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Once we receive the return, the funds should be reflected in your account within 7-14 business days, though it may take up to 30 business days depending on your bank.

Store Credit

If the customer opts for store credit instead of a refund, the shipping and handling fee will be waived.

Returns for Defective Items

For returns initiated due to a reported defect, damage, or delivery of the wrong item, customers must first complete our Troubleshooting/Warranty claim process before proceeding with the return. If the item is found to be defective, a Merry Bright representative may waive the return shipping and handling fee. However, if a customer opts not to go through the Troubleshooting/Warranty process, they will be responsible for the return shipping and handling fee.

Exceptions/Exclusions

Unfortunately, we cannot accept any returns or exchanges for items that meet any of the following criteria:

  • Items not in their original packaging
  • Items not in the same condition as received
  • Used items
  • Items missing tags

This policy is strictly enforced, with no exceptions.

Additionally, sale and clearance items are considered final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
